The Medtronic Instinct™ Sensor is a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) sensor developed specifically for the MiniMed™ 780G System. Designed for individuals with Type 1 diabetes, it continuously tracks glucose levels and communicates directly with the insulin pump to support automated insulin delivery.

By providing accurate, real-time glucose data, the Instinct™ Sensor enables the MiniMed™ 780G system to automatically adjust insulin as needed and deliver predictive alerts when glucose levels are trending high or low. This integrated approach helps reduce the day-to-day demands of diabetes management while giving users greater confidence in their glucose control.
